Free is $0, hosted by us: 1,000 monthly active installs, unlimited bug and crash reports, 14-day artifact retention with metadata kept forever, unlimited apps with unlimited seats, all SDKs, unlimited integrations, and community support. If you go over the install limit we tell you and give you at least 30 days to upgrade or come back within your limit before event ingestion stops. While you're over, screenshots, video, audio and session replay are withheld from the dashboard and the webhook payload — every report and crash still forwards in full — until you're back under it or upgrade, when everything is restored immediately; nothing is deleted. If usage stays over for two complete calendar months, event ingestion stops the next time you go over your allowance — your count starts again at zero on the 1st, so ingestion keeps running into the new month until you exceed the limit again — and stays stopped until you upgrade or finish a calendar month within your limit.

An install is one app installation on one device. A phone, a tablet and the web app are three installs, not one user. An install is normally counted once per calendar month, however many times the app opens. An install is identified by a random value stored on the device or in the browser. If that value goes away — an uninstall, a browser clearing its site data, or a browser discarding it on its own, which Safari does after about a week without a visit — the next run counts as a new install. On the web, rotating your SDK key has the same effect. Installs are never counted as people: what we store is a random per-install number, not a profile — no name, email, IP-derived value, device fingerprint, or advertising identifier is used or derived from it.

If you go over your plan's monthly active installs, you get the rest of that month plus the whole of the next one — at least 30 days — to upgrade or come back within your limit: every report and crash still forwards in full, and nothing is ever metered or charged by usage. On Free, screenshots, video, audio and session replay are withheld from the moment you're over the limit, then restored the instant you're back under it or upgrade — nothing is deleted; reports filed over the limit still forward. If you're still over after two complete calendar months, event ingestion stops the next time you go over your allowance: your count starts again at zero on the 1st, so ingestion keeps running into the new month until you exceed the limit again, and then new reports aren't accepted until you upgrade or finish a calendar month within your limit. Your dashboard, existing reports and exports keep working throughout — on Free, screenshots, video, audio and session replay stay withheld for as long as you're over the limit, suspended or not — and upgrading restores ingestion immediately; in the rare case it has not, contact support and we will restore it. Separately, if you outgrow your plan we tell you, and you can move to a larger size when it suits you — Starter customers move to Pro, and Pro comes in four sizes up to 1,000,000 installs. If usage stays above your plan for a sustained period and we have not heard from you, we may move you to the size matching your usage — never without at least 30 days' notice first, and you are not charged the new price until your next billing period. Free is never billed.

No. Seats and reporters are unlimited on every tier, including Free. We charge for value through the pipe, not for people.

Yes, on every plan. Ask AI runs each question on a fast or standard model, picked in the composer before you send. Fast costs fewer credits per answer; standard is the stronger model for harder questions.
